Ready Player One is an upcoming fantasy, Sci-Fi and adventure movie, which is going to be directed by Steven Spielberg. This movie is going to be produced by Donald De Line, Dan Farah, Kristine Macosko Krieger and Steven Spielberg.

Ready Player One will be based on the novel of same name, written by Ernest Cline. The screenplay of this movie has been written by Ernest Cline, Eric Eason and Zak Penn.

Ready Player One Possible Storyline

As this movie is the adaptation of a novel so, possibly the story of this movie might follow the storyline of novel.

The story of this movie revolves around a young guy named as Wade Watts. Suddenly he enters into a virtual world by accessing into a MMO game called ‘The Oasis’.

After some a billionaire takes the charge over this game and gives the offers to new players to hunt Watts and in return a huge prize money.

During this hunt of earning more and more money from a game, Watts came into action and at last he has to fight against the corporate foe, who can cross any limit to grab money both in real and virtual world.

How Watts escapes out from this virtual world, how he will save his life, who will help him? For all answers of these questions we have to wait till the release of this movie.

Current Updates of Ready Player One

The shooting of this movie has been started in last week of June 2016. This news regarding the shoot of this movie has been confirmed by the screenwriter of Ready Player One, with his tweet on 1 July 2016, that – We have completed the first week of shooting.

Second schedule of this movie has been completed in August and September 2016 in Birmingham, Livery Street, England. Some other shoots of this movie will take place in Digbeth and Ohio.

John Williams was announced as the chief composer for the tracks of Ready Player One on 9 June, 2016.

With the completion of Ready Player One its female lead Olivia Cooke is busy in completing her other two movies, which are set to be released in 2018.

Her first movie of 2018 is Courting Danger, which is a Drama movie. Till now its crew members hasn’t been decided. But it is confirmed that this movie will hit the silver screen till the end of 2018.

Another movie of Olivia is named as Life Itself, which is a drama romance. This movie is going to be written and directed by Dan Fogelman. In it she will share screen with Oscar Issac. The release date of this movie is not final yet.

The official distributor of this movie Warner Bros. Pictures has announced the release date. Ready Player One is set to be released on 30 March, 2018.
