Apache RTR 300, the concept just got materialized, Blazing Racing DNA unleashed!
In India only those bike get success which is not only powerful, but also should be rough and tough, this is because in India condition of roads changes in every kilo meter. And thus to follow this tradition TVS is going to launch the upgraded version of one of the most popular sports bike of India, which is named as Apache RTR 300.
The launch date of Apache RTR 300 has not been officially announced yet, but according to different sources, this bike might release either till the end of 2016 or in the early months of 2017.
This was necessary for the TVS upgrade their current version of Apache, because its competitor bike Bajaj Pulsar have launched RS series, which has an awesome sporty look and because of which the sale of Apache recorded quite down.
The current version of Apache, which is available in the market is Apache RTR 200. And the current version of Bajaj Pulsar is Pulsar 300 RS. So, from here we can say that already Bajaj is one step ahead from Apache.
Many more bike manufacturing companies of Indian market like KTM, Honda, Hero etc. have the latest engine in their bike and if TVS wants to give a competition to those company, then they have to bring Apache RTR 300 with all new features.
So in order to compete these bikes, TVS has done lots of changes in Apache and the design of Apache RTR 300 is totally different from all the previous versions of Apache. Apache RTR 300 has a sporty look, the front part is also bulky with the fine curves from the edges, to increase its aerodynamics.
Apache RTR 300 specifications
As this bike is going to be one of the powerful bikes of Apache RTR series, then its specs should also need to upgraded with time and now we are going to see those upgradations.
Apache RTR 300 is of 313 cc liquid cooled engine, which generates a power of 33.6 BHP at the rate of 9500 rpm. Which is approximately near to the Bajaj Pulsar RS 300. We can say that this bike is specially designed to give a tough competition to Bajaj Pulsar RS 300.
Its engine is of 4 stroke with 4 valves and also have the latest technology of sump lubrication. This engine has electronic fuel injection, BMS E2 system.
This bike has the maximum torque of 28 NM at the rate of 7500 rpm. It has single cylinder. With this huge power this bike has the top speed of 145 kilo meter per hour.
If we talk about its transmission, which same as the another bikes of this time. It has 6 speed manual transmission. With multiple clutch, which is mechanically operated.
Apache RTR 300 features
To stop this bike at high speed it has been given with front single disc of 300 mm, which has four piston fixed caliber and which bolted radially.
For the rear braking system, it has single disc of 240 mm diameter, which has single floating piston caliber.
To make its ride flawless, it has 41 mm front upside down suspension and rear suspension it has solid die of cast aluminum swingarm, which is directly hinged as monoshock and also adjustable preload.
To make the wheels of Apache RTR 300 more durable cast aluminum has been used in the manufacturing of wheels.
After watching these all features we can say that this bike is going to be more awesome and surely this will have brought the Apache series to a new level.
Apache RTR 300 price
Currently it not has been revealed that what will be its cost, but according to bike expert, this bike might cost INR 1.5 lakh to 2 lakhs.
